Good things come to those who wait...
Stephanie is an Osteopath with a longstanding background in Sport, Rehabilitation and Performance. Alongside Osteopathic practice, she has extensive experience within Coaching, Pilates, Rehabilitation, Sports Massage and Strength-based training, supporting a broad range of individuals from general musculoskeletal patients through to athletes within performance-focused environments.
Stephanie has previously supported athletes within Olympic and Commonwealth Games pathways, alongside supporting athletes on World Championship journeys within endurance and performance-based sports. She particularly enjoys working with active individuals and athletes who are motivated to optimise recovery, resilience and performance.
Her clinical approach is highly individualised, recognising that rehabilitation and performance are rarely one-size-fits-all. Stephanie is particularly interested in identifying the underlying factors contributing to pain, dysfunction and reduced performance, often focusing on the smaller adjustments that can create meaningful breakthroughs in recovery and movement quality.
She developed a strong interest in applied neurology in 2014 and has continued to study and integrate neurological and movement-based approaches into her practice since. This includes exploring how systems such as vision, balance and vestibular function can influence movement quality, rehabilitation outcomes, pain and performance.
She has a strong interest in movement analysis, rehabilitation, nervous system function and post-concussion recovery, and is passionate about remaining engaged with emerging research and evolving approaches within performance and rehabilitation practice.
Stephanie is also a Council Associate at the General Osteopathic Council, contributing to discussions relating to professional standards and patient safety within Osteopathy across the UK.
Having been involved in competitive sport herself for much of her life, Stephanie obtained full colours at university level in both rowing and rugby, and has previously competed within triathlon and equestrian disciplines. Outside of clinic practice, she enjoys cycling, skiing, sailing and endurance-based training.
Stephanie enjoys working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and is passionate about helping people move, recover and perform with greater confidence, whether supporting athletes within performance settings or helping individuals return to the activities they enjoy most.
