Our Services

SPORTS INJURY CLINIC

Our Sports Injury clinic offers appointments that are designed to be focused on treating and rehabilitating accidents and injuries for sportsmen and women. These 30 minute treatments quickly address recent or recurring issues that are hindering your sporting performance and will give you proactive advice to avoid future recurrences.

Treatment can include hands-on soft tissue techniques, joint manipulations and kinesiotaping. If required a personalised exercise plan or training and recovery considerations can be prescribed.

The clinicians at formula health have their expertise well placed in many sporting contexts, including formula 1, track and field athletics, swimming, running, martial arts and weightlifting.

Formula Health Tip:

Try booking in for one of these if you have any aches, pains or annoying niggles that keep recurring or are holding you back every time you give your fitness efforts a boost!

What To Expect

Within our Sports Injury Clinic, our expert clinicians are on hand to get you moving pain-free.

Your appointment is a focused 30-minute session held in our dedicated rehab studio. It begins with a brief, targeted assessment of your injury, movement, and medical history, followed by a physical evaluation to pinpoint areas of weakness, restriction, or strain. Based on your needs, your session will combine hands-on care with active rehabilitation—including targeted rehab exercises, kinesiotaping, soft tissue work, or joint techniques—along with a personalised plan to prevent future recurrences.

If your clinician identifies a serious issue requiring further investigation, they will guide you on the best next steps, including GP referrals where necessary, or potentially to other practitioners within the Formula Health team.

What to bring/wear: Please wear or bring shorts, a vest, or loose-fitting gym wear so you can move freely during your studio assessment and treatment. You are also welcome to bring your own towel for use on the treatment couch.
