Good things come to those who wait...
With over 30 years of experience, I began my career in sports and leisure management, where I developed a strong interest in supporting people to improve and maintain their health. This early curiosity led me to train in integrated healthcare, deepening my understanding of how the body responds to stress, recovers from illness, and moves towards regulation. My specialised therapies include: massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and subtle energy work.
After completing a BSc in Health Sciences and Complementary Therapies at the University of Westminster, I went on to work within leading NHS organisations, including Guy’s & St Thomas’, UCLH, and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. My roles have included not only clinical practice, but also contributing to leadership, service development, practitioner education, and the delivery of integrated care within oncology and palliative settings.
My experience spans the NHS, charitable, and independent sectors. This includes volunteering in post-war Bosnia with the Healing Hands Network, and providing specialist therapies with organisations such as Sue Ryder and Princess Alice Hospice.
A significant part of my work supports people affected by cancer. Whether you are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, living beyond cancer, receiving palliative care or at life’s closing. Sessions are carefully adapted to provide comfort, support, and a sense of ease at every stage.
On a one-to-one basis, I also teach mindful yin yoga -a deeply restorative practice designed for modern life. Blending mindfulness, yoga philosophy and insights from neuroscience. Yin yoga is mostly a floor-based practice uses long-held, passive postures to target the deeper connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and spine. Over time, it supports joint health, functional flexibility and mobility, while encouraging the nervous system to shift out of constant “doing” mode and into a state of rest, repair and regulation.
Alongside yin yoga I curate your bespoke meditation, breathwork, mindfulness and guided visualisation strategies. These are simple yet profoundly effective ways to calm the mind, regulate the nervous system, and bring a sense of clarity and presence to everyday life.
At the heart of my approach is a belief that effective therapy is about more than treatment alone. It is about creating a safe, supportive space where your body and mind can begin to regulate. I work with a calm, compassionate, and professional approach, offering bespoke sessions that respond to your individual needs.
