PANGBOURNE, UK — Rising motorsport star Ethan Carney is proud to announce an official partnership with Formula Health, becoming a Brand Ambassador for the for the trailblazing integrated medicine clinic.
The collaboration marks a significant step in Carney’s professional development as he prepares to tackle the rigorous demands of the upcoming F4 season.
Carney sought out Formula Health after identifying a need for a more sophisticated and comprehensive approach to his physical and mental preparation. He sought out the support of Formula Health founder Gemma Fisher M.Ost Med, a renowned medical professional across global motorsport paddocks. As the first human performance consultant Osteopath in Formula 1, Fisher is best known for her revolutionary work in optimising the human-machine phenomenon of F1 pitstops—a contribution that resulted in the 2016 world record for the fastest-ever pitstop at 1.92 seconds.
Formula Health is celebrated for its forward-thinking philosophy, blending cutting-edge personalised health data technologies with ancient, established medical practices. This innovative approach ensures that athletes do not just recover, but optimise their entire physiology to gain a competitive edge.
Fine-Tuning the Competitive Edge
The pre-season period has seen Carney working closely with the Formula Health team to ensure he can handle the physical demands of grueling tracks such as Zandvoort, with its 18° banking.
Once a strong physical baseline was established, Formula Health began utilising their signature personalised medicine interventions to fine-tune Ethan’s performance. This includes detailed diagnostics such as nutrigenetic testing and EEG cognitive performance tools to identify health and fitness improvement opportunities and sharpen his focus and reaction times behind the wheel.
In Their Words
Gemma Fisher M.Ost Med, Founder of Formula Health, commented:
”We are thrilled to welcome Ethan to the Formula Health family. From our first meeting, his dedication to marginal gains and his professional maturity were evident. Ethan understands that to win on the track, you have to be a finely tuned instrument off it. By utilising our integrated approach—combining data-driven insights with foundational health practices—we are ensuring he has the resilience and performance ceiling to have a competitive advantage over his rivals this year.”
Ethan Carney, F4 Driver, added:
”I knew I needed something beyond a standard trainer to take the next step in my career. Hearing about Gemma’s extensive experience in F1 and her work across many race series made the decision easy; she understands the unique pressures we face in the cockpit and applies her diagnostic mindset and unique toolset to engineer performance from every possible angle. The philosophy and unique vision at Formula Health is incredible—it’s not just about lifting weights and treating the sore areas; it’s about how my body functions as a whole and extracting the maximum from my potential. I feel stronger and more mentally sharp than ever. I can’t wait to take on this season in F4!”
