Good things come to those who wait...
IV therapy may support immune function by providing fluids and nutrients such as vitamin C and certain B vitamins that contribute to normal immune system function. By delivering these nutrients directly into the bloodstream, IV therapy can help address deficiencies or increased nutritional needs, although it is not a substitute for a balanced diet, adequate sleep, or medical treatment when needed.
IV therapy may help improve energy levels and reduce fatigue by delivering fluids, electrolytes, and selected vitamins, such as B vitamins, directly into the bloodstream. This can help address dehydration or certain nutrient deficiencies that may contribute to tiredness and low energy. However, the benefits depend on individual needs, and IV therapy is not proven to boost energy in people who already have adequate hydration and nutrient levels.
IV therapy may support cognitive performance and mental clarity by helping restore hydration and providing nutrients involved in normal brain and energy metabolism. This may be particularly helpful when dehydration or certain nutritional deficiencies contribute to tiredness or difficulty concentrating
IV therapy may support people during periods of stress or burnout by helping replenish fluids and, where clinically appropriate, certain nutrients that support normal energy and body function. This may be particularly useful when stress is accompanied by dehydration, poor nutritional intake, or fatigue; however, IV therapy is not a treatment for burnout itself, and recovery also depends on adequate rest, nutrition, stress management, and appropriate medical support.
IV therapy may help address certain vitamin deficiencies by delivering specific nutrients directly into the bloodstream, which can be useful when rapid replacement is needed or oral supplementation is not suitable.
What to expect when attending your IV Infusion or Vitamin injection appointment?
When you arrive, our team will welcome you and complete a brief consultation to confirm your treatment and ensure it remains right for you.
For IV infusions, a small cannula is gently inserted into a vein by the nurse, allowing vitamins and nutrients to be delivered directly into your bloodstream over 30 to 60 minutes while you relax comfortably. IV Infusions are prepared on site by the nurse at the time of the appointment to ensure the maximum effectiveness.
Vitamin injections are quick and administered by the nurse, usually taking just a few seconds.
After your session, you can return to your normal activities straight away.
All IV infusions are administered by a qualified adult nurse within our registered CQC clinical setting, providing reassurance that your treatment is delivered safely, professionally and to the highest standards of care.

Yes. To safely administer the IV infusion, every client will have an appropriate consultation and suitability assessment. This allows us to discuss your health, medications, allergies and what you are hoping to achieve through having the IV infusion.
This will depend on your treatment being considered and your symptoms. Some patients can be administered IV/IM Vitamins without having a blood test, this will be discussed with you before treatment.
You may feel a brief pinch when the cannula is inserted. Once in place, you should not normally feel significant discomfort. The practitioner will monitor you and the cannula site throughout your treatment.
This is depending on the infusion and individual circumstances. This will be discussed with your prior to your appointment, they usually last between 30-60 minutes. IM Vitamins are administered within a 15 minute appointment, and they take seconds to administer.
No, unless you have been given prior instructions regarding fasting. Most commonly, it is advised that you arrive to your appointment appropriately hydrated and having eaten as normal.
Some people may experience temporary soreness, redness, bruising around the injection site. Other side effects depend on the vitamin being administered.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding require additional consideration. Treatment will only be provided where it is considered appropriate following an individual assessment and in accordance with the relevant clinical guidelines and prescribing requirements.
This would depend on the medication and which treatment being considered. During your consultation prior to the appointment, you will be required to provide a list of your medications and supplements so that your suitability can be safely assessed.
